Subject: Select polygons in modeler

Is there a way that I don't know of in the current 3.5 Lightwave Modeler
to select polygons based on _Surface_? I am working on a project with
a lot of polygons and a lot of surfaces and I would like to edit where
the two surfaces join. Once they're assinged there is no real way to tell
where on surface starts and one ends. I am using the head from
the Humanoid figure, so short of modeling my own head, all of the parts
are in the foreground layer. This makes it desirable to select
polygons based on the surface name. Hiding and showing based on surface
name is also desirable.
Is there a macro, or hidden way to deal with this? Any plans, Stuart to
do something like this?
Thanks,
JOSH
